Le Confessionnal
This multifunctional room, designed to receive groups for banquets, shows and private events, was named in reference to Alfred Hitchcock’s movie I Confess. The world premiere of this full-length feature movie, entirely filmed in Québec City in 1952, took place at Le Capitole on February 12th, 1953 in the presence of many of the actors and artisans of the film industry from that time. The giant photos covering the ceiling of this remarkable room are all from Hitchcock’s movie.
With its stunning décor and cozy atmosphere, the Confessional is without a doubt one of the most impressive venues in Québec City to host your events.
